Glider Workshop

On a sunny day,30 August 2019,second chapter of "Fly High" was organised in aerodynamics lab.In this chapter we organised a glider workshop which last for whole day started from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The glider workshop headed by the aerofalcon was one of its kind learning opportunity and a tepping stone in the understanding of the wing structure and the general aviation terms which instilled the enthusiasm among the 1st year student and motivated them to continue on their own even further.

The workshop consisted of several informative lectures using simulations and interactive videos using projectors and high powered computer and the most important aspect of it was the hands on practical assignment that all of the students had to do.It consisted of making a glider using your choice of wing type to cover a maximum distance and afterwards a competition of the same took place.

This was the workshop of many upcoming workshops which would provide even better and more opportunities to understand and build different types of projects together.
